Cooling Tower Maintenance / Dow Chemical (Plaquemine, LA) June ’08 / 250K

This turnaround project took place at the Glycol Unit where the existing cooling tower was beginning to fail. The plan was simple, once the tower was taken out of operation an intense effort would be required to remove the accumulated debris. Lemoine incorporated 2 crews of 8, on a 24/7 schedule to successfully clean the tower using a "filter press" method hand-in-hand with manual labor.

Equipment: Filter Press, Frac-tanks, Roll-off boxes, 3” pump, Haul Trucks and Skid Steer

Plant Demolition / Arcadis (Vicksburg, MS) Aug ’08 / 250K

Working as a Subcontractor, LI was charged with the demolition for a decommissioned plant, Vicksburg Chemical. All material was hauled to a designated landfill. Site was redressed for new project, the Mississippi Industrial Park.

Personnel: Site Superintendent, HAZWOPPER Tech’s, Heavy Equipment Operators, Flaggers & Truck Drivers

Equipment: 2 Excavators, Dozer, 2 Skid Steers, Roll-off Boxes and Haul Trucks

Dow / Union Carbide (Hahnville, LA) On-going / Various

Lemoine currently provides an on-going service to the Hahnville site for crushing and disposing of the Plants chemical drums. Drums are crushed on site, placed on pallets and shipped to an approved landfill.
